The Rising Stars of Public Funds recognize up-and-coming professionals poised to be the future thought leaders of the public fund investing community. Nominated by their managers, colleagues and mentors, and selected by the editors of Institutional Investor News, these 15 individuals represent a mix of investment officers, investment advisors, consultants and client relationship managers and meet the criteria of being 45 years of age or under, having achieved a demonstrable level of success during their minimum seven-year career working in the sector and are active participants in the broader public funds investing community.

This year's 'Stars' were honored and awarded at the 8th Annual Public Pension Fund Awards dinner and ceremony, along with the nominees and winners of Money Management Letter's Public Pension Fund Awards for Excellence. The Rising Stars of Public Funds printed supplement spotlights each 'Star' and appeared in the March 23rd awards issue of Money Management Letter.
